The Section Foreman's House originally began as a private residence in Dolores, Colorado, and was purchased by the Rio Grande Southern Railroad sometime in the 1940's to serve as their Section House. It was located behind the original section house. I was unable to locate any photos of the structure, other than it's roof, so the kit's design relies heavily on the excellent drawings of Mike Blazek.
The kit includes the main structure, the outhouse, the clothesline posts, and that nifty screen door on the back porch.
The above photo illustrates the slot and tab construction used throughout the kit.
